In the olden days, TV ads had great effects on election campaigns. Now people take less notice of the ads. We’re not so sure why but we want to find out.
Campaigns are in full swing and everyone is into voting. The first election ad in Australia was called ‘It’s time.
The way people advertise these days are battle grounds. People see our leaders almost every night on the news.
This year’s election is on the 7th of September between Tony Abbot and Kevin Rudd. At the moment Tony Abbot is winning. I wish both of the best of luck for the 7th of September.

the mce was stolen in the 1890s. The robber escaped and took a train from spring street but when he was climbing aboard the mace was wrapped in brown paper and it stuck like a magenet to the train. the robber also melted the mace made it into a golden nugget and traded it in for money.

Yetserday on the 29/5/13 it was Italian day. On Italian day we did Soccer, Bocce and mask making. in mask making we had already made a mask in art and we just decorated them in sequences, ribbons and feathers. In Soccer we played a mini match because we hade preps, garde 1 and grade 2 it was still fun though because everyone had a go even if they didnt know how to play. Bocce is a game where you have to throw a little white balla and hten u throw big coloured balls and you have to get them as close to the white ball as possible.

On Wednsday 24/4/13 two members from the RSL came to talk to us about the war, their names were Rob and Neil, Neil said that he was in the war when he was younger and they had to carry alot of gear such as a 10 pound radio, 30 pound backpack so their posture would be in perfect shape and a belt with weapons. He also talked to us about the Vietnam war and if he went in it he wouldn’t have been here today because it was the deadliest war in Australia’s history.

In seel last week we did cooking, we made coconut and lemon slice. In my group I had Hann, Rams, jarh, jads and Emmc it was really fun and yummy. This week we focused on cyber bullying we watched a few videos called Hectors world it was about not to tell your personal information to people. I am really looking forward to next week’s section.

Today in volleyball we played against Morland the scores were 3 sets – 0 in our favour, some of the highlights were Sarp’s big serves, Yaso’s, Hann’s catching and everyone’s teamwork I would like to thank Miss C for coaching us.

Last thursday pascoe vale gold played a fun and easy game against the silver stars the scores were 11-4 in our favor some of the highlight were eliw and saas shooting and everyones team work id like to tha bevg for coaching us

During the heat wave I have been going to the Pascoe Vale Pools a lot so I can cool down, I also jumped in the sprinkler with my dog. The heat wave started on the 4th of March and today is the 13th of March there has been no weather under 30 degrees. We have been having the air conditioner on every day of the week. We also have been to the beach a lot to cool down. It has been hard to sleep so I have been sleeping very late. It has been kind of fun though.
